1/5/15: Original Song: “Children”

Today I have composed a song. I’ve been playing guitar for years, and composing, but so far I’ve never shared one of my songs with anyone other than my very close friends.

Today I am going to share my first song with you, the outer world. I hope you enjoy it, and please let me know what you think. It is called “Children”, and is about the things we lose in the transition from childhood to adulthood- things we must learn to get back by letting go and being free once more.

PS: I have upgraded to Premium using my Christmas money. I will be making some changes to the site, but trying to keep it relatively similar. The domain is now just plutosjournal.com. If you have any questions about how it works now, please comment!

  1. First of all, it is so refreshing to see your blog and thank you for sharing. Secondly, the song is charming and beautiful. Am gonna have my twin toddler girls listen to it tonite.

Am commenting for the first time with my pseudo name. (Just don’t wanna come up in search engines :-)).

Your writing “Real-Life Teenager” struck a chord. Many a times I talk to my friend about things we imagined having/doing in our youth but never did or they did not come about as expected. You my friend, have lots n lots to experience. I know we are in the quick n fast information age of instant gratification/frustration but in my opinion you are setting yourself up for some life-changing and everlasting experiences by writing and contributing so much to your blog.

Until later, keep that light shining from your generous and inquisitive heart. Looking forward earnestly to your writings.

    1. Thank you so much! I am so glad that you can relate. I think it’s a fairly universal thing to imagine life in an unrealistic light. I know exactly what you mean about instant gratification, and I think it is one of the most problematic changes brought about by technology. I’m flattered, thank you so much, but I am not so sure if I have much experience yet! I’m working on it.

  2. You are making a tribe and with such an early start it can only grow into a big community of like minded resonating community, if you choose to continue on this path.

I know few teens your age and they either have other priorities, can’t express or are just lost to some unknown force. How did you get here – now that will be great read.

This is an experience of the many u r already having on your Planet’s blog 🙂

    1. Well, unfortunately I don’t know the first thing about building a following other than by word of mouth- but thank you, and I hope to achieve it one day. Perhaps I should seek some guidance. Thanks again for your kindness!
